The last commissioned battleship, it has now
been decommissioned for the last time. USS New Jersey
(BB-62) was last used in Desert Storm in the fake amphibious
assault along the Kuwaiti coast line. This was one
of four Iowa class battleships. All had as their central
weapon nine 16 inch guns. Each gun fired a two ton

Nimitz, U.S.S.

The P-3 is a four-engined turboprop maritime
patrol aircraft primarily intended for anit-submarine warfare. Built
on the frames of Lockheed Electra airliners, the aircraft
flies slow and low but is deadly against submarines. This
aircraft has been in service with the U.S. Navy since 1961
but has undergone numerous reurbishments. For additional

just about to enter service with the U.S. Army. The
