'Rainbow Six - Post #1'

Subject: Re: Lethal optical weapons and Tom Clancy
Date: 29 Dec 1997 16:00:31 GMT

From: tomclancy@aol.com (Tom Clancy)

Organization: AOL http://www.aol.com

Clancy observes further:

I own two (2) of these high-intensity lights, both given to me by the company which makes them. If you think this data is wild, wait until you see something I'm going to put in my next book, "Rainbow Six," concerning a device which tracks people, passively, at ranges up to 300 meters. I've used the damned thing, and *I* think it's totally crazy. But it sure as hell works. I've used it in the presence of a friend who is a recently retired Assistant Director of the FBI. For those who doubt the effect of the xenon-arc light, call your local ophthamologist and ask him (or her) what effect such a light would have on the human eye and nervous system.

TC

Home | General | Books | Movies |
Games | Concordance | Links

Send mail to webmaster@clancyfaq.com with questions or comments about this web site.
© COPYRIGHT 2003 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED WWW.CLANCYFAQ.COM
