Rogue
Spear was named the 2000 "Game of the Year" by PC Gamer
and has won numerous other awards and accolades. Truly, this
is one of the best first person shooters available. It is now
available for several platforms including the PC, Sega Dreamcast,
Game Boy Advance, and Playstation as well as, believe it or not, the
Macintosh.

Rainbow Six, the team put together by John Clark in the book of
the same name, is back and tougher than ever. As a result
of the team's incredible success dealing with major terrorist incidents,
the international community now depends on RAINBOW as the main force
secretly protecting citizens world-wide. The Rainbow Six story
(game version) continues in Rogue Spear with the team's initial
missions being business as usual: a hostage situation at the Metropolitan
Museum of Art and an airplane hijacking. However, the team
soon discovers that these crisis situations are actually related
to two groups: the Russian Mafia and a Middle Eastern terrorist
organization. Through a series of increasingly difficult missions,
the RAINBOW team uncovers the terrorists' deadly master plan, just
in the nick of time and saves the world again.
The original game demo is available here. The
patch for the original version of the game is available here.
In April, 2000, Rogue Spear: Urban Operations, the first expansion
pack to Rogue Spear hit the shelves. This expansion pack moved
the team into dense urban environments such as the London
Tube System (subway) and a Hong
Kong hotel. The subway map has become one of the favorite
multiplayer maps. The 2.52 patch to the game is available here.
The third expansion pack (which is actually a standalone game)
for the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear game series. This
game arrived just before Ghost Recon and
was overtaken by the success of that game. Still, it is an
essential part of any serious gamer's inventory.
